Public ServicesCity Data Services (CDS) provides web-based data management systems to agencies to assist with managing data related to social service and housing project and program management. We are very experienced at designing robust, user friendly, web-pages using forms & databases to collect, compile, and reformat data for a variety of applications. The principle behind our data systems is that any piece of data should be entered one time and informs the remainder of the management features: reports, summaries and subsequently move into contracts, HUD's reporting system, IDIS or other reports with the click of a mouse. Our philosophy in working with customers is to take the time to completely understand their needs, and to design a system that fully meets their requirements. We provide systems that make your life easier without allot of training, additional hardware or technical expertise required. Our customers are City and County employees that oversee many programs and need to efficiently collect and manage data generated from their program and project providers. One example of a Consortium system is one that we developed for Contra Costa County California. This group uses a common application and quarter report that users complete on line. In addition to the common features the system allows for individual differences. For example, sub-recipient annual contracts vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. We provide contracts from the individual jurisdiction to the sub-recipients for the services the sub-recipients are providing to each jurisdiction. Our way of doing business is to charge for system development and a monthly maintenance fee, which covers ALL maintenance, upgrades, trainings or changes you need to the system, for any amendment, for the life of the contract. We work with many other jurisdictions and bring you best practices. We work with HUD and bring you current reporting regulations and requirements. Throughout development and maintenance, we will work closely with staff to ensure the website meets your needs, and make suggestions for improvements if we see the opportunity. Changes to 'static' portions of the website are as simple as calling us on the phone or emailing us text changes, Excel spreadsheet or a Word document; typically within 24 hours we will have your changes implemented. We are more like a partner. We listen to your needs, understand your challenges and deliver the solutions you require. That is what we do, and we do it very well. We make ourselves personally available, and our response time to questions or issues is measured in hours, not days or weeks. | |||||
